Once the actual building of the Tower of Terror had been errected and the base painting job was done, progress got harder to notice. In the last weeks small themeing details were added, like sections that look like broken off brick-walls, painted marks to show where the lightning hit and threw parts of the building into the Twilight Zone. But guests really had to look close and compare photos to see this progress. So most of they eyes 
moved to the Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Tower of Terror instead. Here all the steel structures for the facades went up, the first walls were added to the facades right in front of the Tower and the roof-top was added to the small tower in that section. Progress here is picking up speed and the work promises some really 
impressive facade - just take a close look at the photo showing the incredible detail rich stucco decorations already mounted to the facade. And again: this is not part of the Tower of Terror structures but of the facades along the Hollywood Boulevard in front of it, facing toward Studio 1. Below this particular sections of the facade an outdoor seating area will be placed for a dining offer.
But this week there is also hard to miss progress to report from the Tower again: the huge light-up letters that will spell out "The HOLLYWOOD TOWER Hotel" (the word "Hotel" in a different smaller font placed a bit below the word "TOWER") are being installed! The first two letters "H" and "O" were installed yesterday, the others are awaiting their installation and have already been moved up. They are standing up side down close to where they will be installed shortly...
